How is sentiment tagged? Can it be changed?
Radarr by Genesys uses natural language processing (NLP) to identify, calculate, and locate sentiments to each post that is captured on the platform. Each of the posts is either marked as positive, negative, or neutral and it involves the algorithm studying the combination of keywords and phrases within each post to mark it appropriately. Radarr by Genesys maintains a sentiment accuracy rate of 85%. This can be further improved by users, by changing the sentiment of a post if they think the automatic tagging is inaccurate.
How to manually override the sentiment of a post:
Step 1: Head to any of the posts – Each post has a round sentiment indicator icon located at its right topmost corner indicating either a positive, negative or neutral sentiment.
Step 2: You can override the sentiment by clicking on this indicator and choosing the sentiment that best matches the post.
Step 3: If there are several posts that has a common factor like a keyword or a phrase, the platform has the option of bulk editing all those posts as well. This enables the user to make changes to sentiment of many posts at the same time. Here are the steps to do that:
- Using filters, select the posts where you want to apply the same sentiment.
- After the posts are selected – click the “Bulk edit” button on the right-hand upper corner.
- When that button is clicked – users will get an option to apply bulk sentiment edits on all the posts selected by the filters.
